Tri State Detectives is a state-licensed and insured private investigative agency, operating mainly in the State of Nevada. Investigations conducted in the State of California are conducted by our other licensed agency "California Investigative Services". Investigations conducted in Utah or Arizona require special arrangements. Investigations in Colorado are currently being reviewed as state laws have recently changed. All Nevada investigators have been vetted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Nevada State Attorney General, and other law enforcement concerns. All employees carry a current Attorney General issued identification card and, are registered employees with the Private Investigators Licensing Board. To that end, anyone who becomes a client is guaranteed confidentiality as the law permits. When you contract for services with Tri State Detectives you are guaranteed privacy and confidentiality, the same as granted between a physician and a patient and, an attorney and his client. To cement this assurance, all of our clients employ our services by a written contract that allows them to "Act in Proper Persona" as their own attorney. In other words, you become the attorney, with all their rights and, we become your client. Any and all of our work product developed during an investigation becomes your personal work product. This is confirmed when all investigative costs haasve been paid. By doing this, we are somewhat immune to requests from the other attorney to turn over our work done on your case. The importance of this is when the discovery phase begins before a trial occurs and, the opposing attorney seeks to understand more about your claim supporting evidence. Should your case proceed into the legal arena we recommend that you employ a licensed attorney to move your case forward. We cannot give you legal advice because we are not licensed for that purpose. Tri State Detectives does not peek in windows like you see in the old detective movies, nor do we do other unethical activity. We are reputable, transparent, operate within the law, and are highly professional in all that we do. When you hire us you are hiring a firm that is alike in their activities and professionalism as the Federal Bureau of Investigation. An unprofessional investigator can cause you to lose your case. All investigations are micromanaged by the licensee for quality and assurance.
